The group aims to identify the major issues/projects which restrict the long-term sustainability/growth of the district's economy.

It also works to:

• Identify the local, countywide and national organisations that are able to influence the process of delivering these issues/projects
• Take concerted and appropriate action to ensure that a co-ordinated approach is adopted by these organisations when delivering the project.

Partnership impressed by Herne Bay re-development plans

Members of Herne Bay Town Partnership have responded favourably to the plans for the Central Development Area (CDA), reviewed at their recent meeting.
