Protecting the environment and using resources more efficiently has become increasingly important in business and this group provides access to guidance and support in this wide arena via the C4B website.
The group focuses on the advantages to be gained by making your business "environmentally responsible", facilitating two-way communication with the city council and generally raising awareness of environmental issues.
Projects include supporting the council's Enviro Plus awards scheme.
The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and Department of Energy and Climate Change have launched a marketing campaign designed to help businesses save money by being more resource efficient.
It focuses on ten no/low cost tips to save water, energy and waste which are available at www.businesslink.gov.uk/savingmoney.
