New on-line skills and training resource for Canterbury district employers
C4B (Canterbury4Business) is launching a new skills and training resource for businesses in the Canterbury district on 18 July.
The on-line resource has been compiled by the C4B Skills and Education project group with the help of students from Canterbury Christchurch University. It consists of a comprehensive register listing all the training and further education resources in the Canterbury district. Employers can search for the kind of skills training they require either by training type/subject or provider name. Businesses will be able to access the register via www.canterbury4business.co.uk.
Paul Barrett, chairman of C4B, said: "The Canterbury district has a wealth of education, training and skills development provision for businesses. The new on-line register will offer employers a quick and easy way to locate these local providers and find out about the kind of courses available"
The C4B skills and training register will be launched at Hall Place, Harbledown, Canterbury on 18 July at 5pm. Employers in the Canterbury district who are interested in attending, should contact Paul Spree, Canterbury City Council on 01227 862532 or email paul.spree@canterbury.gov.uk
