Trade Force is a unique week long trade mission to Washington DC, Fairfax County and Richmond, Virginia (24th June - 1st July) led by Kent County Council in partnership with Essex County Council. In the year of the 400th Anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, an opportunity to explore a whole new world of business is available to Kent companies.

Washington DC, Fairfax and Virginia have significant strengths in a variety of sectors, presenting a range of opportunities for trade which include financial services and insurance, Government support services and security, Aeronautics and automotive, Biotechnology, particularly Bioscience, Telecommunications, shipping, freight and logistics. Trade force is open to companies from any sector who believe they have opportunities to trade with the US.

The benefits of participating in Trade Force include the chance to network with a wide range of American businesses, and create contacts at a high level through the Trade Missions supporting partners as well as opportunities including;

• The chance to be part of a large group of representatives from businesses in a variety of sectors across Kent and Essex, allowing UK as well as US contacts to be developed.
• Being free from organisational burdens you will be assisted through the whole process, application, introductions, itinerary planning as well as travel arrangements
• Joining a high profile visit which has full support of the British Embassy in Washington, the Governor of Virginia plus a range of other US partners which brings the potential of significant press & media interest
