Environment Awards for Kent Business 2007
Who Cares Wins
Rewarding Responsible Businesses
The search is now on for the most sustainable businesses in Kent and Medway.
Large or small businesses, regardless of sector, can enter to compete for the honour of becoming Kent Environment Business of the Year. The overall winner is selected from the ten Award winners chosen by the judges as the top examples of best practice, commitment, or positive impact in 2007.
Benefits of entering the awards:
- An enhanced business reputation and wider recognition by customers, partners and the community.
- Promotion in the Kent Business Newspaper
- Recognising the efforts of the workforce
- The 'feel good factor' of promoting good practice to other companies.
- Automatic promotion as a case study on the Awards website
- Use of the Awards logo to demonstrate they are a winning company and a responsible business.
Entries are encouraged to demonstrate any action or project you have undertaken that you think has an environmental benefit. If the action or project has social or economic benefits, the more sustainable it is.
Businesses entering the Awards will be given a free company environmental review and free access to best practice environmental workshops run under the Kent Environmentally Responsible Business (KERB) programme.
Entry deadline is 5th September 2007, with the Awards ceremony being held on the 7th December 2007.
