Improving profile and profitability through digital media
The Essential 5s series of business workshops at the University of Kent continues on Tuesday 24 April with Improving profile and profitability through digital media.
The workshop will take place at the Canterbury Campus from 9am – 1pm and is essential for anyone who wishes to increase sales, reduce costs, improve their company profile and enhance their corporate identity through a better understanding of the processes of digital media planning.
The workshop will be given by Liz Valentine from the University’s Department of Electronics.
Her workshop will cover the five essential areas of digital media planning: audience, method, message, assets and constraints.
Carole Barron, Director of Enterprise at the University of Kent, said: ‘It is vital that businesses are able to reach their target audiences in a cost effective manner. The internet, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, television, radio and printed media are all established methods of reaching customers. Today these are increasingly implemented by digital media; so having knowledge of the steps needed to plan and implement a digital strategy is extremely beneficial in today’s highly competitive business world.’
The University of Kent recognises that while it is widely accepted that training is important to a growing business, companies want to be able to understand the relevance of the training to their everyday needs. That is why the University, through Kent Enterprise, is running its Essential 5s workshops which are designed to be short, highly relevant to today’s commercial environment and targeted to give maximum benefit to your business.
Additional topics covered by the Essential 5s Workshops include: complying with EU manufacturing regulations, strategic marketing planning, market research: the key to branding and strategy, successful supply chain management, incorporating electronics into products and managing change within an organisation.
