For nearly 20 years, Common Purpose has been running leadership development programmes internationally, and has a community of some 20,000 graduates in the UK and abroad. We have now developed another programme, Common Purpose InsideOUT, for areas close to London.

The cities, towns and villages that circle London are favoured and jinxed by their proximity to the capital. They contribute significantly to London's wealth. This provides real problems and opportunities for leaders in this "circle", whether they operate in the capital or not.

The participants' local areas provide the foundation from which they investigate the interconnectedness within the "circle". Together, they explore what they share with - and can learn from - their peers; what opportunities can be grasped for their locality; and how they can all lead more effectively with a deeper understanding of the factors that drive change inside the "circle".

Why participate in InsideOUT:-

• You will gain a deeper understanding of the drivers of the London economy which will help you ascertain how these can work to local advantage.
• You will get access to key decision makers, which will help you forge new working relationships to achieve mutual benefits.
• You will be able to identify "gaps" that local organisations can fill to achieve regional and local objectives.
• You will have the opportunity to develop innovative ideas leading to commercial opportunities that would otherwise not be feasible.

Common Purpose InsideOUT is an 8 day programme, offering the opportunity both for local days based in Kent, as well as spending time with a 'super group' of participants from a wider geographical area.

Currently, Train to Gain are offering funding of up to £1,200, subject to eligibility, for Business Leaders to use towards development of their choice.

This funding is only available until the end of January 2008 and has limited availability.
