New Online Property Service for Business
Canterbury City Council's Local Economy Team has launched a free online property service which offers businesses and investors a quick and easy way to view commercial property for sale in the Canterbury district.
It is the most advanced online commercial property portal of any local authority in Kent, enabling users to search for commercial property and sites across the district and view related information and photos.
The service replaces the city council's existing property register. New software has been deployed to enhance the presentation and layout of the service and a quick search facility added. Visitors can now conduct a basic search of land sites and commercial premises by area, property type, tenure, property size, and so on. For more comprehensive details, they are required to enter their user details.
The site, which holds records of over 200 properties, includes shops, offices, factories, workshops, warehouses and development land. Council-owned and managed properties are also included on the list. Information for the site is provided by the city council and estate agents in the Canterbury district.
Paul Barrett, chairman of C4B, said: ”This new service will help the city council to promote the many high quality commercial sites and units available in the Canterbury district more efficiently. Business owners who are looking for premises or land can now find out all they need to know at the click of a mouse. Agents acting for vendors of commercial property will be able to monitor and analyse enquiries more accurately.”
The new portal can be accessed at: www.business.canterbury.gov.uk. Or call Canterbury City Council's Local Economy Team on 01227 862532.
