BIDs, business-led partnerships that focus on improving and enhancing specific urban areas such as town and city centres, commercial locations and industrial estates, have been successfully established by cities such as Winchester, Norwich, Chichester and Durham. Canterbury City Partnership (CCP) is looking at the possibility of developing a BID in Canterbury and is visiting local businesses to explain how BIDs work and how Canterbury might benefit.
C4B Associates will have an opportunity to learn more about BIDs at the C4B Spring Conference.
