ESRC seminar invitation - Strategic Thinking in family firms

The University of Kent is hosting an ESRC sponsored seminar on Strategic Thinking in Family Firms on Monday 4th April.
Through a series of 5 thought-provoking talks and discussions, we will be exploring together how family-run/owned firms learn to recognise, value and apply knowledge, information and innovation to their advantage. We will seek to identify the differences in behaviour between the successful and slower-growing firms.
The seminar will be relevant to the academic, practitioner and business communities alike, providing insights into the learning behaviour of firms, the role played by employees and family members in learning, and the contribution of Universities to the knowledge exchange dialogue.
The event is Free, but a nominal charge of £25 will be made for administration and refreshments (Lunch and coffee breaks included).
