LDF launch: have your say

The LDF will set out how development will be managed across the Canterbury district, and will reflect the district's economic, environmental and social aims.

It aims to 'provide a strong strategic framework to promote investment, guide development and safeguard the built and natural environment'. There is a real expectation of improving the quality of people's lives in a way that truly reflects the aspirations of local communities.

In January 2010, Canterbury City Council will be consulting local businesses and residents about the core options contained in the LDF, so make sure you don't miss the opportunity to have your say about the future of your district. More information will be posted on the C4B website nearer the time.
