The shape of things to come

C4B is hosting a breakfast briefing at Birley's Pavilion in Canterbury on 23 February to give Canterbury business owners an opportunity to 'have their say' about the economic future of the district.

Keynote speaker Colin Carmichael will talk about the city council's new draft Local Development Framework (LDF) and how it will affect the business community. The agenda will include important issues such as transport, development of land for employment, education and skills provision, and strategies for attracting knowledge-based businesses to the area.

Whether or not you're able to attend this event, the draft Framework offers you a unique opportunity to help determine the economic future of your district. You can view the draft Framework at www.canterbury.gov.uk and submit your comments about the core strategy online.
