Support 4 Business

Support for business...

If you're just getting started or already running a business in the Canterbury district, Support4Business offers you the opportunity to access free help and support from other business people in the area.

Through the scheme, you will be put in touch with an experienced local business person who is willing to provide you with support on an informal basis, as and when you need it.

Support4Business mentors are all experienced local business people who understand the issues involved in setting up and running a company, and have received specialist mentor training. They will provide a listening ear for anyone who wants to discuss plans and problems, sound out new ideas, or just have an informal chat with someone who is totally unconnected with their normal business circle.

Canterbury City Council's Local Economy team will match your business with the most appropriate mentor before initiating a first contact.

To view the list of Support4Business mentors, please click 'mentor profile' on the right hand panel.

If you would like to get involved as a Support4Business mentor and share the benefit of your own experience with others, please contact Dawn Hudd on 01227 862054 or email dawn.hudd@canterbury.gov.uk.
