2012 Olympic Project

The group works to identify the exceptional business opportunities that the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games offer Canterbury and the surrounding district.

This involves:

  • Working with partners at all levels to create and develop action plans and projects that will help local businesses prepare themselves
  • Maximising these opportunities so they are offered in a way that will grow the local economy.

The group liaises closely with the other C4B working groups to ensure a consistent approach, minimise overlap and maximise its contribution to the community.
